APSARA Authority in cooperation with the provincial goverment,
restoration teams, local residents, and all parties concerned
has identified the following priority areas for the implementation
of the EMS project:
Zone 1: Monumental sites (area around
Angkor's monuments)
Zone 2: Protected archaeological reserves
(Angkor's periphery)
Zone 3: Protected cultural landscapes
(rivers and ancient roads)
Newly-developed Hotel Zone
Zone 4, 5: (covering almost the entire
Siemreap province)
