About the data

  1. ZEMP data:

  2. Made in 1992 and edited in 1995 by the Hungarian team covering the area from Koulen Mountain to Tonlesap, Scale: 1/100,000.

  3. JICA data:

  4. 1998-2003: APSARA Authority received the GIS data and map of the Angkor region from JICA (Japanese government).

    1. APSARA Authority owns the copyright to the JICA 1997 GIS data. The topographic mapping shall cover mainly northern and eastern suburbs of Siemreap city. The area to be covered by topographic maps shall be as follows:

             - 1/10,000 Scale topographic mapping    430km2
             - 1/5,000 Scale topographic mapping      100km2

    2. The data was collected in 1999 (phase1) and 2003 (phase2) by JICA, covering the entire country of Cambodia. The scale is 1/10,000.
      But the data given to APSARA focuses on the Angkor area of Siemreap province.
