| APSARA Authority has organized
a workshop at Century Hotel. More than 400 participants
attended the workshop. The forum brought together provincial
and local authorities, monks, village and commune leaders.
The workshop was held under the auspices of His Excellency
Sok An, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister in charge
of the Council Ministers, accompanied by the Minister of
National Defence, as well as the Ambassadors of Japan and
France.
The purpose of the workshop was to spread information about
protecting Angkor to the local people throught the leader
of the villages and communes in the Siem Reap - Angkor region.
