The result of a collaborative effort between the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and the EFEO, this book, first published in 1993, and revised and re-edited in 1997, provides illustrated descriptions of some of the most important pieces of the Conservation collection known to have been stolen between the 1970s and 1990s. The book has made a significant contribution to the fight against looting of Khmer art, prompting the restitution of numerous published pieces to the Cambodian government.
