Cleaning and Clearing Unit

The Cleaning and Clearing Unit has only one person who responsible for 300 workers, 246 women and 54 men. They perform such tasks as:

  • Cleaning and cutting grasses and small plants growing on and surrounding the temple, such as Angkor Thom complex, Angkor Wat, every temples along the small and grand circuit, group of Roluos, Kbal Spean and Ak Yum temple, by carrying out six times per year.
  • Clearing grasses and any kind of water plants in Srah Srang and each moat of the temples in the Angkor Park.
  • Carrying out preventive excavation works of the flowing projects: public toilet, police heritage construction, public parking, balloon site...etc in the Angkor Park.
  • Carrying out the drainage system project of Angkor Wat moat, Srah Srang, Ta Prom temple...etc.
  • Taking out sediments of Angkor Wat moat, Southern pond of Angkor Wat.
  • Watering the grass field in front of Angkor Vat and Northern part of Trapeang Seh.
