Road decoration

Most of the roads in the Siemreap City are decorated by our specialist work group in order to make it inviting for the tourist to come and visit the city. The following work has already been completed.

Lamp posts along the Siemreap river bank

This is the model of the lamp post, which is designed following ancient Khmer architecture. We had many choices in models for the new lamp posts, from all over the world, but in order to give Siemreap the look of a cultural city proud of its heritage, we decided on the distinctively Khmer model.

This kind of lamp post is located all along the bank of Siemreap river. If you travel along the river banks at night, you will find that they highlight the river's natural beauty. These lamp posts are part of our effort to enhance the city's appearanc to make it attractive for tourists, national and international.

Direction pannels in Angkor Park

Even though the department is in charge of the urban area, is also provides assistance to some of the work in Angkor Park. The direction pannels, which may be seen throughout the park nowaday, are the outcome of the efforts by the Department of Urbanization and Development in Siemreap Angkor Region. This kind of pannel is not only used at the Angkor Park, but also on some of the roads in the city. Our goal is to create one standard for the city and the Angkor Park to make it easy for visitors to find their way around the area.
